As many of you know, Hurricane Melissa has taken a serious toll on the island of Jamaica. As a non-profit organization committed to serving the community, our local team is currently on the ground assessing needs—particularly in the Portland area where we serve each year—however identifying other regions like St Elizabeth, Westmorland and Hanover that may also require urgent help.

Right now, many families are without water and electricity, and recovery will take time. If you feel moved to give but are unsure how or where to contribute—and you know the work we do annually on the island-you can donate through Zelle. With greater security that your donation will truely be making an impact. Your support helps us play a part in restoring hope and getting lives slowly back on track after the storm.

Help 25 Women receive Life-Saving Mammograms

Early detection saves lives — but for many women in our community, that chance is out of reach. Right now, many women in Portland must travel 2-4 hours each way to receive a mammogram. The cost of travel, time off work, and medical fees makes it nearly impossible for some to get screened — and that’s a risk we cannot ignore.

We’re raising funds to cover the full expenses for 25 women to receive mammograms — including transportation, meals, and testing fees. Your donation can remove the barriers that stand between them and early detection.

Join us in making a difference today. Donate and help 25 women take a life-saving step.
